The community has numerous soccer fields, baseball fields and playgrounds scattered throughout.  Some are for various age groups so wander some of the local paths and explore. Many are hidden from main roads.

 

  

Rocky Ridge Recreation Centre - There are currently a number of sports facilities in the area, but soon to be finished is the Rocky Ridge Recreation Centre currently under construction at 11300 Rocky Ridge Drive. You can drive by and view the outside now and it is expected to be open in Spring 2018. 

 

Canada Olympic Park / Winsport - Just down the hill from Tuscany sits COP. With everything from skiing, skating, gym facilities, bobled, acrobatics, gymnastics, mountain biking and so much more, this facilitiy continues to be an amazing opportunity in Calgary. One of my personal favourite things to do is the Skyline Luge which is the worlds longest luge track and don't forget the Zip Line. I dare you!

Transportation


Whether by bike, transit/LRT or car, transportation around Tuscany is well developed.

 

 

The walking/cycling bridge over Stoney offers easy access from Scenic Acres west to Tuscany. Scenic Acres also connects directly to Calgary's main bike pathways. There are pedestrian/bike underpasses at Stoney Trail and Nose Hill Dr NW.

 


 

The Crowfoot LRT station is the second most west most station in the City of Calgary CTrain Red Line.  It is a quick and easy ride downtown. The two local bus routes are Route 97 and Route 113. Routes 40, 120 and 134 also run through the commmunity to access the LRT station from surrounding communities. There are additional buses for high school students.
