Tuscany Community - NW Calgary

Tuscany is a vibrant family community located in the NW corner of Calgary. This community of approximately 19,000 residents has been built over a number of phases over recent years since it was established in 1994. The vast majority of the community is now built out with a very small number of lots remaining to be developed in the SW corner. Tuscany is bounded to the north by Crowchild Trail, Stoney Trail to the east, Bearspaw Dam Road to the south and Twelve Mile Coulee Road to the west. The communities of Lynx Ridge and rural Bearspaw are just to the west of Tuscany.

A central shopping area includes Sobeys, Scotiabank, Starbucks, as well as a variety of small shops and services including a medical clinic, dentist, dry cleaner and Kaleidoscope Kids Preschool. As well, Crowfoot Shopping Center is just minutes away.

A variety of home styles are available including single family homes, townhomes, condominiums and 40+ housing. The community is well served by local transit and is a short distance to the Crowfoot LRT. The LRT will be expanding to a Tuscany / Rocky Ridge/ Royal Oak LRT station which is expected in 2014. The community is on the ring road, just up the hill from Highway 1 to Canmore and Banff. As such, many homes enjoy beautiful mountain views. With abundant green space and tot parks as well as various sports fields and the outdoor area of the Tuscany Club, the community is one of the most popular in Calgary.
