A little about Monika Furtado

As a full-time Realtor I have one main goal. I wish for every client to be so satisfied with the service they received from me that they will refer their friends and family.

I develop a unique strategy for each client, whether it is someone looking to downsize and sell an existing home, move up, move on, families looking for a great new home, investors, first time buyers, first time sellers, new construction, estate sales, judicial/foreclosure properties or other needs. Each client is unique and should be treated as such. You have my commitment that I will do my best to help you achieve your goals and I look forward to having yours.

Originally from Vancouver, I hold a Bachelor of Arts majoring in International Relations from the University of British Columbia. I worked in the IT/software industry for over ten years wearing many hats including analyst, project manager and implementation specialist for companies such as Business Objects (now SAP) and Electronic Arts in Vancouver and Evoco here in Calgary. My strength was to translate between development and business to figure out what was needed and to get the right product developed.

Many of the same skills that brought me success in software development are those that have brought me success as a Realtor here in Calgary. I listen. I seek to understand your needs, goals and challenges. It is all about you, my client, in the end.

To that end, I keep on top of market trends, community information, technology and the economy. I utilize appropriate technology so that I can access relevant property information on the spot and to ensure I have the resources you need at the time you need them. I align myself with some amazing folks, from mortgage brokers, inspectors, stagers, photographers and lawyers. If don’t have an answer then they do and we are all happy to help.
